Felix Götz

Felix Götz is Co-Founder and CTO of [ArrowTrade AG](https://www.northdata.de/ArrowTrade%20AG,%20Brig/CHE-175.861.624 "ArrowTrade AG Northdata"), and the technical lead behind [unCoded](https://uncoded.ch "uncoded trading bot") – a self-hosted, non-custodial crypto trading bot operated from Switzerland. He has been trading crypto since 2016 and building automated trading systems since 2020. Between 2020 and 2025 he ran Cryptohopper's Hero tier on his own capital across multiple portfolio sizes. That five-year operational experience produced the thesis that now drives unCoded: subscription-based bot platforms charge fixed fees regardless of trading outcomes, which structurally damages normal retail portfolios even when strategies technically work. After calculating his own net returns – consistently worse than simply holding Bitcoin once subscription fees, tax software costs, and actual taxes were accounted for – he started building the alternative that became unCoded. The channel has always focused on technical honesty – dissecting commercial trading bots to show what actually runs under the hood, and explaining why backtesting numbers rarely match live performance. Alongside the channel, he has run a Telegram community for algorithmic trading since the YouTube work began, now one of the most active German-speaking spaces for serious bot trading discussions. At ArrowTrade, Felix oversees the entire technical infrastructure behind unCoded – system architecture, multi-exchange integration, the Signal Editor, and the security model that keeps user API keys and capital on their own servers. The core trading logic was written by him personally rather than outsourced, which reflects a deliberate choice: the value of unCoded is the integration of trading experience and engineering execution, and that integration degrades when either half is handled by someone who only understands one. Felix runs unCoded on his own trading capital. Every strategy deployed through the platform goes through the same bot paying users deploy through. Every architectural decision is tested first on his own positions. This is structurally different from most commercial bot platforms, where subscription revenue decouples founders from the consequences of the product's execution quality.
